Hey everybody, and greetings from Hollywood!

I had a few seconds, so I thought that I would upload some pictures. I dont have time to do them all, though. So, I'll only do the ones of Hollywood. Next time I will post pics of the beaches and my hiking trip in the Conejo Mountains here in Thousand Oaks.

And Gandolf and Superman. These crazies just roam the street. They dont necessarily do anything... its like they are just walking around like normal people. Cause they arent like... signing autographs or taking pictures with people or anything. They are just there. Occassionally someone will ask them for a picture. But I just ran up and took one while they werent looking.

And here's the famous Kodak Theatre (Where the academy awards are usually held). The Oscars might be here. There's only 2 places where they are ever held..... but anyways.... I'll be here in LA when the Oscars take place... so... .MAYBEEE......

My internship has been going well. I already have the camera, effects and motion graphics credits in her films and I've only been here a week! I am also editing her proposal for her book she wants to publish, as well as the first chapter of it. She is going to give me a "special thanks" in it once it is published. She said she didnt plan on having me do that, but said that I was such a good writer, she wanted to have my input... and I think I have really helped her out with a few problem areas in both the proposal and the chapter... yay for me!

I'll try to keep you guys posted, but I never know when I will get the chance to get on here and post.

SO, anyways, I havent posted in awhile.... I couldnt sleep, so I figured why not post now?

A lot has happened, I suppose. I didnt read over my last post before I started writing this, so I cant remember what I talked about last time.... or when it was.... so, I'll just sum up some of the things that have been going on.

I have an internship that I am going to do in LA. It sounds like it will be a lot of fun, and it will be a great opportunity for me to make contacts. I will be interning with a woman named Keri Bowers, who makes documentaries about children with different learning disabilities. She works with John Travolta's brother, Joey Travolta to produce thiese films. ANYWAYS, I will be helping her with general office stuff for the first week or so, and then I will start to help her with the post production stuff. I will even get my name in the credits! Woo Hoo! She also said that I may be able to get an internship or job with Joey Travolta after my internship with her, because he is starting  a film school and may need some help.

It all sounds really cool.

Another amazing thing about it is that it wont cost me much to go out there to LA. She is flying me out there, and letting me live with her in her home in Thousand Oaks.... which apparantly is pretty nice. I will have my own little section of the house with a room and bathroom and stuff, and I will jsut ride with her to work. She even mentioned something about putting me on her insurance so that I could use their extra car. She's pretty trusting, considering she's never met me before.

For all she knows I could be a crazy person.....

As a matter of fact...... I AM a crazy person.

ANYWAYS,

MORE good news! I won 100 dollars on Superbowl Sunday on my dad's job money pot thing. My square won the 3rd quarter! I would have won 300, but the stupid Colts didnt kick a feild goal when they could have. They decided to go on the 4th down, because they were ahead and knew they would win either way. Sigh. Oh well.

I never win ANYTHING.... so I was excited.

OH, AAAANNNDDD

Logan just gave me my Valentines Day gift today! Its a palm pilot!!! I LOVE those! I had been wanting one since I used Pam's in New York (my boss at Miramax).

Its REALLY cool! I havent had a lot of time to look over all the features and we are still trying to figure out how to get music and stuff on it.... but I can tell that it will be really handy and will be something I will use a lot!

I dont know why he didnt wait til Valentines Day to give it to me, though.....

Oh well.

I guess thats all. I'm kind of getting tired now.

Today I looked for jobs that I am qualified to do. There are several that interested me. There were a couple assistant to the editor or producer positions open at Universal Studios that I am qualified for and that looked good. I am gonna check more into them and work on my resume (I think its all updated though), and apply. We'll see how it goes.

I still havent figured out my school email yet. Those people are idiots. I've called them like four times and they keep saying that it wont work because I've tried it to many times and it shuts down for security reasons. But if I am using the correct password and username, and my account hasnt been disabled, then it should work the first time, and I shouldnt have to try it three times before it shuts down.... so I know that isnt the problem.

Oh well.

I'll figure it out.

I know those are completely random computer generated results that are meant to be funny.... but its kinda weird, because Stina actually has done (or is doing) two of those random things.... I think....

She's going to Costa Rica, and I believe she studied animal behavior. I dont believe she wants a pony though. And I dont think she's planning on naked yoga.... I dont think.....

Either way, still kinda strange. I think I got her results.

Oh well.
